Brian Fant began his legal career
with Touchstone Bernays in 1981 after graduating from Baylor Law School.
With a grandfather who had served as mayor of Shreveport, Louisiana and a
father who served his community as a Baptist minister, Brian had been
instilled with a sense of justice and law. His practice is
devoted exclusively to litigation in both Federal and State Courts,
representing both corporations and individuals in a wide variety of tort
cases involving wrongful death and serious injury claims. Brian also
has expertise in Bad Faith/Article 21.21 cases as a result of 21 years of
insurance related practice. Brian's commitment to excellence in the practice of law is evident in the honors he has received and the affiliations he has secured. Beginning with his education at Baylor, Brian was awarded with the President Abner McCall Scholarship. He is listed in the National Register's Who's Who in Executives and Professionals. Along with his admission into the State Bar of Texas in 1981, Brian has also been admitted into the United States Western, Eastern and Northern District Courts, as well as the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. Most prestigious of all, Brian is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell, the most respected source of information on members of the worldwide legal community for over 130 years. An AV rating recognizes an attorney as having reached the heights of professional excellence and integrity. With a family history steeped in serving, Brian has invested himself in his family, community and industry. He has been married for nearly 20 years and has two children. Brian has taught courses on Consumer Protection and Claims Handling as well as speaking at the Texas Insurance Seminar on Auto Insurance, Tort Reform and Wrongful Death. He is both a deacon and teacher at Park Cities Baptist Church and is on the Board of Directors of the Greater Dallas Community of Churches. |
